ALMA - Association of Lab Managers

ALMA began as the University Laboratory Managers Organization (ULMA) founded by Drs. Claude Luchessi and Tom Lyttle in 1980.  The organization was soon expanded to become the Analytical Laboratory Managers Association (ALMA) to include the managers of analytical organizations in universities, industry and government laboratories.  Later, recognizing that laboratory managers in all disciplines including analytical, R&D, clinical and technical service face the same challenges, ALMA became the broader based Association of Laboratory Managers welcoming managers from all laboratory based organizations to participate.

AIA - The American Institute of Architects


ASHRAE's mission is the advancement of the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration and related human factors to serve the evolving needs of the public and ASHRAE. 

-AWI - Architectural Woodwork Institute

AWI  is a resource center for excellence in architectural woodwork.

- American Chemical Society

The ACS is an individual membership organization that consists of 161,000 chemists, chemical engineers and technician members—60% from industry, at all degree levels.

Analytical Life Science & Diagnostics Association

The Analytical Life Science & Diagnostics Association (ALDA) is the successor to the Analytical Life Science Systems Association (ALSSA), the primary trade association in North America for companies that manufacture and market systems — instruments, consumables, reagents, software, information databases and services — used for analysis and measurement in chemistry applications and the life sciences.

- Biotechnology Industry Organization

BIO is an association of over 850 member companies involved in the biotech industry.

- CETA- Controlled Environmental Testing Association

The Controlled Environment Testing Association (CETA) is devoted to promoting and developing quality assurance within the controlled environment testing industry.

- CSI - Construction Specifications Institute

The Construction Specifications Institute provides knowledge for creating and sustaining the build environment.

- LPA - Laboratory Products Association

The Laboratory Products Association member companies manufacture and distribute products such as glass and plasticware, chemicals, equipment and supplies used in research and applied science worldwide. 

- LSI - Laboratory Safety Institute

The Laboratory Safety Institute (LSI) is a non-profit national center for health, safety and environmental affairs. The Institute's mission is to make health and safety an integral and important part of science education, our work, and our lives.

- NEBB - National Environmental Balancing Bureau
